Makeup Setting Sprays for All Skin Types

jane iredale’s Skincare Makeup System is made to suit any client's needs. Hydration Sprays are made up of thoughtfully curated ingredients that support various skin concerns. These key ingredients and their features will support you in recommending the perfect hydration spray for your client. Before choosing a Hydration Spray identify what skin type and skin concerns your client has, that way their hydration spray will not only provide them with a refresh and hydrative boost but additional support thanks to skin-nurturing ingredients that can align with their skin goals.

For Mature or Dry Skin Types Use D2O Hydration Spray

D2O hydration spray is based on Ylang Ylang that helps to hydrate and plump skin cells, and contains ingredients to soothe and protect the skin. Chamomile extract is a calming ingredient that also soothes dry skin and algae extract is added to also prevent moisture loss. If a client finds their dry skin clings to makeup using this spray in addition with a primer before adding foundation can further support a smooth base to begin makeup application as these ingredients, especially Ylang Ylang, maintain the skin’s natural moisture. Spritzing at the end of application will set the makeup in place while adding extra hydration. Recommend for your client to take with them during the day to help alleviate dryness of the skin especially in winter.

For Oily and Acneic Skin Types Use Balance Hydration Spray

This hydration spray is skin balancing, so while it does hydrate (yes it is equally important to keep oily skin hydrated) it also tones and sets makeup for a skin-like finish. Balance helps balance the skin's oil production and PH with Orange Essential Oil, Orange Peel Extract, Grapefruit Peel Extract and Algae Extract. This spray is distilled with natural astringents and skin-balancing extracts, the skin will remain bright throughout the day with this invigorating setting spray while also reducing the appearance of pores thanks to the orange peel extract. All sprays are refillable and there are mini 12ml versions available that are perfect for clients to place in their handbag.

Tip: All sprays can be kept in the fridge for a cooling effect when applied.

For Sensitive Skin Type Use Calming Lavender Hydration Spray

Calming Lavender is formulated with Myramaze Extracts to provide deep hydration while soothing redness and reducing the appearance of fine lines. This lavender infused face spray locks in moisture while also using skin-softening natural extracts and botanicals. While this is great for all skin types and clients that enjoy the calming lavender scent it is especially beneficial for redness and irritation and can be used post-treatment to calm the skin.

Additionally you can spray this on the pillows of your treatment rooms for an even more relaxing environment for your clients and if they purchase many clients spray it on their pillow at night.

For all Skin Types Use Pommisst Hydration Spray

Pommisst has the added benefit of Pomegranate Extract, a powerful antioxidant that helps neutralise free radicals. This refreshingly scented hydration spray is distilled with potent antioxidants and skin-boosting extracts like White Tea Extract for supporting the skin’s elasticity and Rosemary Extract for soothing and protecting the skin. Your client will notice a natural skin-like finish that will hold their makeup for longer. While Pommisst is great for all skin types it is also especially beneficial for aging skin, sun damage and hyperpigmentation.

Pro Tip: Spray on your brush when applying PurePressed Eye Shadows for more intense impact colour, especially for shimmer shades.
